Forgotten Wings Project
This project is responding to the current ecological crisis and mass extinction of species,
specifically, the Sunshine Coast’s, recently extinct Pink Underwing Moth, as well as
ecological post-human and scientific research into the symbiotic genesis of human cells.
The Project is an ongoing exploration through various performances as this creature, in collaboration with sound artists.
In parallel to performance out comes I also facilitate workshops at eco-centres in south east Queensland, teaching children (and adults) how to make lepidoptera puppets from recycled materials, while informing them of the endangerment of local species.
